Who am I and how can I help you?
Hello. My name is Joanne Hayward and I have over 25 years of experience in management, sales, marketing, and customer service, in London and Dubai. I recently completed a diploma in Digital Marketing, Women Director course with the American Embassy and I also keep updated in all matters relating to entrepreneurship, business, and personal development. In addition to this, I am a fully qualified English teacher and have been teaching for over 5 years now.
This unique combination of teaching and business experience puts me in the perfect position to help you with your Business English.
Personally, I am a Mum to twin girls, 2 dogs and 2 cats! Although I am English, I am the eternal expatriate. Currently I live on the beautiful island of Malta, where I love living the outdoors lifestyle, enjoying walks in the countryside, swimming in the sea (in the summer!) and BBQ’s with friends.
My role is to help you with your speaking and listening skills, to provide you with the Business English vocabulary, idioms and phrases that you will need, and to provide you with a safe place to practice using the phrases that you need in all business environments.
Using the unique Prepare – Practice – Perform technique, I will teach you how to prepare for your meetings, phone calls, presentations, job interviews. After the preparation, I will go through the techniques that you will use to practice going through these scenarios in full. After this, you will feel confident in attending and fully contributing to each situation on your own.
I offer bespoke and personalised courses, which are individually designed to suit the goals and areas of development of my clients. Using the unique 3 P’s method, I am able to assist with presentation preparation and practice, confidence to speak up in meetings, interview technique, role plays, to name but a few.

Fletcher Business English is named after my Grandmother. The name Fletcher was her maiden name and me and my cousins all carry the name also. Since a fletcher is someone who makes and sells arrows, I thought that the name is quite apt…. Let’s uplift your English level so that you can hit your professional target. I’m also a very optimistic person, with a huge interest in entrepreneurial activities, reading, and animals.
